DMM Management was created in response to a need in the wireless telecommunications industry for quality project management services. At the time of its founding in the early 90s, most wireless telecommunications sites were being developed by individual disciplines without any one person dedicated to managing the overall process from start to finish. Recognizing that lack, Bell Atlantic Mobile, a major carrier in the southwest region of the country, engaged David M. Mitchell to provide this much-needed service to aid in meeting FCC-mandated coverage objectives in a growing market. Having already been providing consruction management services to the industry up to that time and being aware of the lack of overall continuity, David founded DMM Management in 1993, beginning a history of successful ventures.

 

DMM Management celebrated its 25th anniversary in February 2018. Over time, the firm has added construction management, engineering, quality assurance, and real estate services to its initial offerings.
